DescriptionInstructional Assistant: 183 day working calendar
Hours Per Day: 4.50 hours
Shift: Monday-Friday, TBD
School: Redmond Elementary (Within the Redmond Learning Community)
Hourly Rate: $25.54/hour Position is eligible for membership in the Service Employees International Union No 925.
Job SummaryThis position assists teaching staff with student supervision in suspension room, helping students complete instrutional tasks and maintining and orderly instructional environment within this space. Also, assists teaching staff by administering alternate assessments to students and compiling and analyzing behavior data. May also be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school academic programs, or office.
Education And Experience Requirements
Must hold an Associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours, OR have passed an Educational Testing Service ParaPro Assessment documenting a score of 455 or higher, OR have passed the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher. Official documentation will be required upon hire.
