Fire giants can be assigned as a slayer task at level 65 combat by various Slayer masters. They are the strongest generic giants for their category, and are mostly known for their rune scimitar drops.
Fire giants can be found in an array of locations, most of which allow for the use of a dwarf multicannon. The lone exception is the Catacombs of Kourend, which does not allow a cannon, but is a multicombat area.
In most cases, players are recommended to kill fire giants at the Catacombs of Kourend, due to the multicombat area of the dungeon allowing for relative AFK and having access to the catacombs drop table. The Giants' Den is a second alternative, as while it is not multicombat, it allows for a cannon and the giants are the same as those in the catacombs, along with sharing its table.
If killing them as part of a task from Konar quo Maten, each location she can offer is relatively reasonable, apart from Brimhaven Dungeon due to the somewhat scattered spawns on the second floor and the few spawns on the first floor. Nonetheless, she does not assign them at the Smoke Dungeon, and even then, it is not recommended to kill them there as there are very few giants scattered across the dungeon.
If killing them as part of a task from Krystilia, the only location they can be found is the Deep Wilderness Dungeon, located around level 53 Wilderness. While somewhat close to the Mage Arena, its deep location makes it a prime hotspot for player killing, and it is highly recommended that players killing giants here have completed the Wilderness Medium Diary to unlock a shortcut between the fire and hill giant chamber, saving significant time and avoiding shadow spiders on the way.
